The app used to be amazing. Now if Im watching a show that has no forwarding - it doesnt mark where I left off but starts the episode all over again- its now numerous episodes I dont get to finish watching because whos gonna watch an entire show just to see 10 last minutes?!?! So frustrating. Fix it!

I LOVED using this app. When I saw there was an update I was hoping for some minor changes or maybe even the ability to watch our recorded shows on our devices. What do we get? A HORRIBLE layout that does not function well at all. It makes it SO difficult to search the guide now, everything is A LOT smaller to read. I thought updates were supposed to make things efficient? Instead, this one made things WORSE. Guess I cant use it until I find the time to figure out how to use it and by then hopefully theyll come up with something not efficient than this.

Used to love this app even with the glitches, pauses, and commercials but the update has killed it and not in a good way. Cant watch recorded shows on my phone which I was able to before which was the main reason I used this app. Please fix!!!

The app is cool in concept, but I havent been able to watch what I want.

I love it because when I go some where without internet or wifi it always work and I can always a show with my brother and my sister anytime they are sad or mad

I dont know how this app has more than one star. You cant watch half the content on there. Some channels pop up and you can watch them. The ones that need to load, you can hang that up and forget about it. Most of your newly recorded content you can hang up beside those channels that I just told you to forget about. Its amazing that DIRECTV continues to put out such a horrible app.

App is G, but would be 100% better if it were cast friendly!! #castfriendly2017

App just keeps trying to initialize. Then freezes up.

I dont want to jinx myself saying I enjoy this app and it works great after all the bad reviews but ... I love it and it works perfectly. So sorry some are having problems , so far so good here. Watch I just jinxed myself and if it begins to get crappy Ill update my rating lol.

The whole family can use it and it has actual tv not like Netflix and there isnt ever any trouble no glitches or anything just right for me and even you I suggest you get the app because it is awesome for you and your family

In general I found the App to be convenient until the last month. When I go to record a Foxsouthwest 676 Mavs or Rangers game the recording redirects me to NBAHD OR MLB network which I DONT subscribe to. Called twice and still dont have a resolution. Fortunately I use Plan B and manually record from the Settings and help button.

We just got DirecTV a week ago. For 5 days we worked on learning the app. Now it will get us to a black screen with the DirectTV logo on it. AND THATS IT!!! We have tried uninstall and reinstall 10 times with the same results. It still works on an old iPad with older software, but iPhone 6&7 it is totally useless ?

Absolutely love this app! Great for my lunch time to catch up on my shows or just watch a movie.

I have tried over and over again to no avail, the app just shows a black screen with the Directv logo nothing else. Very disappointed.

...because it wont open. Latest update screwed everything up and DirectTV seems to have given up on the app. Dont waste your time.

Ive downloaded the app three times and it wont do anything except show the main screen!

Switched to DIRECTV from U-verse about 5 months ago. He directv app is utter garbage
