Keep stopping. You have to force close it to even get a good couple of mins of tv before it crashes again

It doesnt matter if Im connected to the best wifi in the world or the slowest. Every single time this app freezes in the middle of shows but magically starts working during commercials!

Ive had DIRECTV for 18 years but just got the app for my phone.

This app is horrible, it never works, and it needs to be redesigned / coded. I intended to use this app more then the supplied cable box. Looks like I need to look for a new provider.

Installed this app a week ago and have had nothing but trouble, I have a very good Wi-Fi signal and I never have problems streaming anything except for this application. Video constantly freezes audio continues but screen freezes so whats the point?

Great way to watch football while deployed inside the country.

When I am watching it on live tv and it keeps crashing and freezing and anytime I keep refreshing it and restart my tablet

Despite a very reliable and 100mb + connection, I cannot steam more than 5 minutes at a time before this app just freezes. Then, if sound comes back, the picture remains frozen. It really is amazing that a company like this could put out such a worthless app.

Every time I login it doesnt go past the login. All I see is a black screen.

I rate Directv app above average. But the programming in relation to the service pricing is poor. In fact, the services is grossly over-priced. Dont see why they would tie customers to ridiculous contracts.

Comes in handy to follow the world news anytime, anywhere.

This isnt one of the worst apps, it is the worst!!! If its working at all it constantly loses connection. So frustrating, if I had hair Id pull it out. It is rare that I can watch an entire program without losing the connection. Ill be watching a program, lose connection and within seconds be connected only to find out Im watching a complete different show on the same channel. I would like to be able to go straight to my favorites, lock them in. The number of steps to get to the channels I want is rediculous. Lastly, what makes you think I want to see CNN! I want to be able to go straight to the channel I want.

When I got DirecTV, they said Id be able to watch it from my phone. Now that Im trying too, the app wont even let me log in. Ive had the app for 2 days.... I watched one movie! It says logging in, then goes blank. Very disappointed.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I have been a DIRECTV customer for over 20 years. This is quite possibly the most frustrating, unreliable app I have ever seen. ATT should be ashamed of themselves for putting out this garbage.

I have always like DTV but the app is great! I rarely use my tv I use my phone or tablet to watch tv. I cant say enough great things about it. I would definitely recommend!

Ive tried this app several times. Even deleted it and downloaded it again and still have the same. After I sign in it says its "initializing" then goes to the black DIRECTV screen and freezes there. Have never been able to actually use the app. Id love to use it but theres no way to get it to work. Very disappointed.

The convenience of it is so nice. Like to use it over my lunch break a lot.

It doesnt work at all. On my old phone it would just sit on a black screen and not do anything. I got a new phone and this time it just sits on initializing with the loading circle and never stops. Dont download this app. Its the first app that Ive ever downloaded that doesnt work at all.

Its just a bad app
