This service allows me to watch the entertainment of my choice when and where I want to enjoy it. It would be even greater of some added channels or features were added for free for loyal customers.

Love that I can record right from my phone when away from home or in a different room. Much easier to scroll through the guide on the app then using the remote control. However, it can be a little difficult to navigate.

This app runs great on my S7, but when I try to use it on my iPhone, its the worst, I cant stand it one bit -_-

This app is great for me. If you have ATT for your phone service, you can bundle it with DIRECTV and get unlimited data. I watch whatever I want, when I want.

I love the app because when am not home I can see my shows are pic up where I left off at yet if am waiting an hour are more I have DIRECTV to keep me company so 2?up

Terrible app to use, I cant for the life of me figure out why the picture quality is so poor there is no parent controls like Netflix. Plus the video keeps cutting out! We will be looking else where.

Update: 07 April, 2017 Just want to make sure the horrendous mess that is this app is still articulated for the most recent version, which now utilizes so much processor time to decode video that youll be lucky to get 2 hours of playback on an iPhone 7-plus. I didnt think the app could get worse than it was for my prior review, so congratulations to the software "engineers", I guess? Prior review: This app just gets worse and worse. Since integrating the previously terrible GenieGo app into this one, they have somehow managed to make both parts simultaneously worse. The bugs are too numerous to count, but most recently I spent hours this morning slowly downloading shows only to have the app crash and then delete every last one once I left on my trip. The worst part: the app is still taking up all of the storage space for said shows! My only regret is that the App Store doesnt allow for negative stars.

Ok. Since the iOS 10.3 went live. This app has been horribly buggy. Long times connecting, lag times between operations to the point multiple button presses occur over a minute. Its awful awful awful. Its April 8,and Im losing it. This was a good app, not perfect, now its horrible. Previous review:The DIRECTV app is intuitive, clear, full of good, ease of use controls. ? Very tired of the new constant signing in procedure that seemed to have started in March 2017!!!! My husband is a remote hog. It made more sense to use the app, than look for or argue about it. Over time , the app has become my preferred "remote"! With use in home , glad Genie is Out its the most used app on my phone. Keep up good work!

Its taken a long time, but we now have true anywhere, anytime viewing. Remember to be connected to the same Wifi as the HR44+ receiver when first setting up software and authorizing device.

All you get is a black screen. Please fix as it use to be great. Now its terrible.

Cant watch ALL YOUR channels unless you are on your home wifi, defeats the whole purpose of this useless app. Xfinity is calling and I may pick up ????? I just wish there were negative stars -5

Make it simple please.

The app downloads but is not working on my iPhone I opened it there is nothing but a black screen if this is a loading thing the why not include a loading indicator.

Dont understand why we keep loosing signal when it snows out and in a heavy rain. Also we loose signal for about 5-10 seconds at least 2-3times a week. Just enough to lose part of the story.

This app actually works

Watch TV anywhere huh? NOPE! Want to watch the Cubs game when your not at home? NOPE! You can take it with you anywhere in your house close enough to connect to the receiver. Thats about it. Glad I got ripped off! Thanks DirecTV!

The app is great on my iPhone, but not so for my android. It cuts off in the middle of a show. I have to start the process again. I hope you can fix the problem

I truly enjoy this app!! Its great for when we are out and about with the kids
