I love it because I travel with my job and I can still get my favorite shows while Im on the road.
This app hasnt been working for while. We I try to log in it doesnt recognize my log in ID. The latest update didnt fix this problem. Tech support cant figure out whats wrong. Customer service cant provide customer service. If you have the AT&T Direct TV bundle you could be experiencing this problem. Changing your password doesnt work. Deleting the app and then reinstalling it doesnt work. Turning off my device and turning back on doesnt work. However, if you log in on a PC it works. Doesnt help if youre on the go. So Direct TV it isnt a user issue its your app thats the issue.
This app stopped working. I upgraded and it still wont work. The screen only displays DIRECTV logo.

I like this app for reminding me what the DIRECTV logo looks like. The logo on a black screen, and nothing more. Very simplistic. No need to bother with shows or my DVR. Just the logo on a black background. Thanks DIRECTV.
The app is a little glitchy with playback and does not allow you to fast forward through commercials but I still love it.
Freezes up all the time, cant find the darn dvr. Always crashes. POS. Fire your product manager.

this app has a copy designed for tablets. and idk why but the phone version is much better, i thought it should be the other way around since tablets are pretty much reserved for the purpose of media streaming.... weird, well in this phone app you can scroll through channels while viewing live content and in the tablet version you cant do that. now that i think of it maybe its b.c the cpu inside phones has to be faster? idk

This app is constantly freezing and always has glitches. Months later/years later... still doing the same thing and always running behind. I would give this app NO stars, if I could. AT&T has really ruined DIRECTV. DIRECTV was so reliable before AT&T took over.
It usually happens after a commercial. Dont waste your time with this app.
What a joke. I have been trying daily for 12 day to get it to work. Ive tried on 3 mobile devices. Not once has it even let me log in without freezing. Go elsewhere. Im switching to Comcast
Fantastic App for use for a Guide to see what is playing now, or for looking for what I can download from various, what movies are available and a great tool for Scheduling an upcoming Recording. This being said, I have an "Unlimited Plus" plan, because the Scheduled Recordings are EXTREMELY GB hungry. Two days into my Monthly Wireless plan and I have already used almost 10GB of my 22GB plan. I do not use any Wireless data to Stream to my iPhone, but Recording to my Genie 45 will use up all my Monthly Data, Plus. The good thing is, I am not charged anything extra for the extra Data usage.

DIRECTV provides all of my live TV streaming and recording needs at home and on the go. I highly recommend buying DIRECTV because it is affordable and user friendly.
The on demand stuff is designed terribly, and there are intermittent connection issues. Also, after a while it asks if I want to continue watching the channel, but itll ask me twice in a few minutes? But for the majority of the time the app works just like it should.
