This app, as everyone says, does not work. Theres no signing in, there are no features to be had. It is completely worthless. I am surprised a disappointed Apple has not pulled it from the app store until Direct TV gets their crap together. How big and rich is Direct TV and they cant even make a working support app for their product. These are the areas you find whether a company really cares about their customers. In this case, its obvious Direct Tv only care about money. Go Direct TV, zero stars.

Its slow, slow to update, it crashes constantly, the DVR doesnt update well. There are so many issues that often render the app useless.
0 stars. I had Its been said all the latest 0 star reviews are true ."video service unavailable at this time ". Directv will never read this. I wrote a very detailed review on their "survey" about your recent call with them about a 3 1/2 hour call, being bounced around the world. No response. I think the good reviews are att/directv employees or paid app reviews. I like my directv for picture at home. But This app is crap.
DIRECTV app was working one day and the next day it will not recognize my log in info. When contacting customer service they try to say its my service provider. BS its the app.
We receive this service at a discount, but frankly the app isnt worth it even if it was free. The app generally doesnt work, but when it decides to it runs like its on 9,600 baud. Slow, poor searches, poor ability to set something to record, watching DVR is unnecessarily difficult, and goodness forbid you attempt to watch live TV.
This app is AWESOME!! I get to stream tv shows where ever I want!! And if you have AT&T , it uses no cellular data!! Also, there is a tv remote in the app, incase you cant find your remote, or your just feeling lazy ?!! I love it !! Definitely recommend it!! ❤️
I drive truck and I like having the choice of radio or tv. Keep up the good work.
I downloaded the app and it wont let me log on. Just goes black with their logo. I have rebooted my phone, installed and uninstalled several times with no luck. Pretty bummed out. Makes me wonder if I made the right decision of ONE day to switch to Direct TV.
I just up graded to an iPhone 7 and I cant get back onto Direct TV it just sits there. Please fix this problem; I am missing my shows when I am away from home!!!!!
Whats going on? My iPhone connected to TV works for everything except on this app. I get audio but no video. The combo of these 2 things, AT&T wireless and DirecTV, is why I got off cable. Both TVs are the same going to TV from iPhone via HDMI.
Doesnt work, contacted tech support and they cant fix the issue. Hope they get it together soon ? they keep saying its a known issue. Although the reviews only state app and reps are telling me that its all sources, I.e., Firefox, app)
This app doesnt even work, I was able to use it for a couple weeks then every time I open the app it stays stuck with a Direct TV logo and never opens.
Completely unable to access. It says update app, when I try to update it says open app which then kicks me straight back to update. Maddening!!
This app has lots of problems. It is very forgetful and often unreliable. Occasionally it will work well and find my DVR but mostly it will will freeze up when looking at "ways to watch" options. Fast forward should be available in on demand shows but it is not. They disable it. Awful.
This app allows me to watch both national and local programming on my phone or tablet. Outside on the patio with my morning coffee or relaxing in the hammock on the weekends...While Im getting ready for work in the mornings...While cooking dinner...So convenient!!!
Works fine over all buy will badly require apple/chrome cast feature ASAP!! NBC channel doesnt load for ever.
Be sure to download this App if you have nothing better to do than sit around and get frustrated and lose your mind. Another "brilliant" AT&T product that promises the world and delivers only heartache, false hopes and unlimited frustration. My family and I were really excited to use this feature on our 7 week Europe trip to stay in-touch with American news... all we have been able to get is 200% nothing. The only good thing about this App is that its free. Dear AT&T, please use the hundreds if $$ I am giving you each month and hire a couple of App developers who actually know how to design a working app.
Until recently it worked ok. This version fails to connect to the DVR so you can watch recordings. But you waste your time trying. Fittingly, the App Support link takes you to a screen that says "Page Not Found".
