This app can ever be used. Dont bother downloading it. It is useless. You waste a lot of time trying to make it work. It lax specific instruction and I believe that the App is poorly constructed and truly does not work. It might work on your computer, although I havent tried, but I dont intend to. And I certainly dont intend to waste one more second trying to get this app to work. And I say this being a very technically savvy person. If I cant figure it out, nobody can.

Watching dvr on mobile is a great idea, and it is great on the rare occasion it works. Streaming is terrible leaving you with the option to download shows. Trying to download is a chore as shows from my dvr often dont show up or take over an hour to download. Unstable and unreliable. Five stars when dvr on mobile works.

This is a great app... this is an unbelievable app... no need to download HBO, Showtime, or any other network app... I just need to figure out how to connect my DVR to the internet so I can watch all my recorded shows...

Does this app support chromecast? I tried to access chromecast with it because it showed what looked like a chrome cast icon next to the play video before watching it but could not access it. So again, does this app offers chromecast if not or not working please add it or fix it.

Works fine for me. Kinda bounces around but I can figure it out ok.

This app has a ton of things that COULD be great but it doesnt all come together. When watching recorded DVR through the app it continually force quits and there are times when the orientation is messed up and you cant see the show.

Really wish they would add chromecast support. When Im at a hotel I want to watch my DirecTV with the chromecast I bring along. Most challenging is that when Im streaming live tv, it ALWAYS freezes. The audio keeps playing but the picture stops for a few seconds and sometimes minutes. Before you start saying its my internet connection, dont. Ive tried numerous connections at different locations and even different devices - and the problem is always the same. Come on DirecTV - you need to do better than this or youre going to lose me to xfinity.

I really like how they made it so u can watch youre fav shows without having to worry about youre data plan :) your kids can also watch for as long as they want! *coughs* Im a 10 year old k- oh shoot I said that out loud didnt I?

I can set up to record to the DVR when Im at work and when I get home its ready to watch.

I enjoy the app and it is convenient, but there are many technical issues.

Could use more On Demand channels. And it will kick you out of the app periodically. Nonetheless still like the app

The free data for Direct tv / AT&T customers is a great way to avoid data charges that other streaming apps will incur. Recently having issues logging in to pay my bill. I hate having to call in and hold forever.

I like Directv but the app doesnt even work. I have deleted and reinstalled but it doesnt matter. App was great when it worked but for 6 months it hasnt worked and they dont have a clue how to fix it.

This app used to be very useful but has inexplicably stopped working on both my iPhone and iPad. It loads to the black DIRECTV screen then hangs. Ive deleted and reinstalled multiple times with no luck. What happened???

I hate this app. When I open it, it tells me to update the app so I go to iTunes and when I get to the app update, its already the latest version. So I cant go any further in the app because I have to update the app but then I cant update the app. ******Fix this problem!!!!!!******

Imagine you only watch network tv once in a while for something specific, say, the super bowl. And then DIRECTV loses contact with the satellite. No problem, you think. Ill use the app. But the app wont even list the network you want. I know, Ill use the search. The search finds it, but wont play it, not on the iPad, not on television. I know, Ill get help. I see that chat is available. I click chat. Nothing. Waiting. Nothing. The only thing I got when att bought DIRECTV was an unannounced increase in my bill. Even cutting out premium channels its $114 a month. And I can only watch when there are no clouds. Who thought up this nonsense?
