I have had a few issues with switching from Comcast to direct TV. BUT if I am just reviewing the app its great. I can watch live shows or shows Ive recorded from my DVR. I was never able to do that with the Comcast app. The one big issue I dont like is if you pause or stop the streaming it wont let you resume. You have to watch from beginning and fast forward never works. Resume has been an option but only if you go back to watch within minutes from pausing.....over all the app is pretty good

I have not watched even just a thirty minute show without problems! Constantly locks up!! Dont directtv care at all about the customers? Just fix this unstable app!!!! The people responsible for the app must be too dumb to fix the problems!!!!! My daughter has Xfinity and she said its works great. And just now no programs will open because it says I have missed the viewing window for this show even though it is a live show!!!!!! I HATE DIRECT TV!!!!!!!

Biggest piece of garbage, streaming does not work at all! Also, the app reloads on its own for no reason. For the amount of money I spend with you people, you think you would be able to write a decent app! Fix this piece of crap!

This app allows me to do everything with my DIRECTV I can watch tv in my room on my phone if I loose the remote I can simply use my remote I can watch a tv show that I really want to watch even when Im not home this app is amazing

Not even Comcast sports net. You can never watch sports live on mobile device. Defeats purpose of watching what you want when not at home...

I can catch up on my shows anywhere! Love this app!

The app is very good if you are streaming live TV. However when I am accessing the DVR, often times all of the recorded programs that populate. In addition to that, should I have to answer the phone and come back to the DVR, once again either is extremely slow repopulating or the shows dont populate at all. Other than that it is amazing

This app used to work flawlessly. Now it simply does not work. Constantly says that "streaming is not currently available" despite having a strong wifi connection. I could go on and on. It simply doesnt work.

I log in and all I get is a DIRECTV logo. No streaming, no options. BS!

Great App! But I would love to be able to watch local channels through our DirectTV Subscription! Please add local channel access. If the Dish Network Anywhere App includes local channels why cant the DirectTV App includes them?!

Ive read other reviews and they dont seem happy with the app. I like it.

This app in a longer works with Apple airplay. Its not as much fun being a DirecTV customer now.

Do you know even though your offering all the premium channels for for free right now, still nothing good on. Your showing 1979 movies & older. But yet you charge 15.00 a month for HBO,& 13.00 for all the others its rediculous. & not to mention your app doesnt sync with your provider. When it says take your tv with you, yet your missing over half the channels. What a shame.

The app is awful. The DVR portion is terrible and wont show you what you have scheduled to record. The receivers and remote are very slow to connect and you have to constantly reconnect them. Very disappointed in DIRECTV and will cancel after contract

Sad, this is a sad app. Nothing like watching through 39 minutes just to have a commercial crash your app. Resulting in more commercials if youre lucky enough to be able to fast forwards.

Cant log in, again

Cant even load home screen after it was just working. Constantly freezes and doesnt continue where I left off.

Nice for a trip when if worked. Now I just get a black screen. Deleted and re-downloaded, rebooted, still no luck.

At home there is always a interruption in service when there is no bad weather. My DIRECTV app only works half the time , my plan has every channel DIRECTV has but will constantly shut down or tell me that my subscription does not include the channel I was just watching.
