I really enjoy this app. I never have any trouble using it. I enjoy it especially when Im traveling. I recently went to the country to visit my Dad and I was able to enjoy my programs with ease. It also comes in handy on road trips to entertain the kids. I really cant live without it. I highly recommend it.

I see a lot of negative reviews, but I actually love the app. It is perfect for when Im away from home and want to watch television. I can record shows from my phone if I forget to do so on my tv. If a show isnt available to watch it on my device, it gives me the option to record it on my TV and is available instantly. I can go back and shows that I forgot to record. If Im watching something on the app and have to exit for any reason, when I open click on the show again it automatically restarts where I last left off.

It may be a great home cable network. But their availability of features outside of the home is pretty much worthless.

It gets stuck after it says logging in and it stays that way the app has been crap since end of June for me

I enjoy watching my shows off the app at night but some times the audio isnt in sync with the show. I also had trouble streaming and when I called got AT&T had to reset that before I could reset directv to work app. This took forever. The older app was so much better.

Constant freezing and crashing. Its too bad because I really like the app when it works. Navigation is intuitive and your most watched channels are usually in the first suggestions under live tv. Please fix the bugs though!

You can get everything. It local channels , like abc I couldnt watch when the finals were on, especially because Im in the military I needed that smh otherwise no complaints.

Its so good to use but you have to wait a day to watch the recent episode of your show with ads and maybe a week without ads

Works great. I can record from anywhere, anytime.

Watching shows from your playlist is way to difficult when your away from your home wifi. When your away and want to watch your shows it tells you that you must register your device. Well to register your device you have to be home. If I was home I would use my tv. Im away from so I cant register my device, which means I cant watch my recorded shows until I get home again. Needs to be a better process in which to watch your playlists away from home.

I love this app ?

This app could be great if it werent for the constant bugs afflicting problems all over the place. Its rare to find a function that works well, streaming, dvr, general crashes --constant problems.

I really enjoyed using this app until the new version was released. It is pretty much useless and a waste of time now. I cant watch most of the shows on the DVR and its just about impossible to download anything. Again, this was not an issue until a few weeks ago when I made the mistake of updating. Update - I called direct tv today and they are not aware of any issues with this app. This seems impossible. Went through all of their troubleshooting. Nothing works. Im done.

This is a very cool idea to have

The app works well for me, but if I record a show on the app, there is no confirmation that the recording is actually set. It would be nice to see an "R" inside a red or orange circle like we see when we record on a Genie DVR. The reason this is important is, sometimes the recording didnt happen, and theres no way to tell until its too late.

The app stalls, crashes and wont connect to my receiver 99% of the time ????????

I watch anywhere and on all my devices, iPhone, iPad, laptop. This app and AT&T rocks!

It doesnt have all the channels that youve subscribed to. And it says take your tv with you. Plus not worth paying 95.00 for the premium channels considering all the movies you show are from the 80s. we have DVDS for those movies your showing why would we pay 15.00 a month for hbo. Thats a little crazy dont u think.
