Love!

I like watching tv on my phone. Its easy to use and I dont have to log in every time.

Cant Sign In

Ive tried signing in and I get a blank screen with the att logo...nothing else. I tried to go to app support but the page "cannot be found". I cant believe this app, and the support for it, is this bad at such a well known, large company.

iDevice :: 6S Plus iOS version :: 9.3.3 Status :: Jailbroken COMMENTS :: Why does this app constantly refresh? Why does it need my location? Why does it take so long for it to initialize? Everything about ATT is inferior. Because of my constant frustration with this app, the limited offerings by DirecTV, the *AWFUL* genie remote, lousy Philippines-based customer service, and the unavailability of promotional packages such as complimentary HBO, I TERMINATED MY CONTRACT AND SIGNED UP WITH COMCAST. NOW, I get HBO and SHOWTIME FOR FREE, 350+ channels, broadband at 500 MBPS (ATTs faux FiOS only offered 30 MBPS in my area - Comcast offers 1 Gig), and ***very*** generous customer service. I hope NBC UNIVERSAL/COMCAST acquires ATT in the near future!

DIRECTV is great

The app is great butt u should be able to watch everything even if the show has already aired or hasnt aired DIRECTV is great but would be better if it didnt freeze during storms or rain

Comprehensive & Functional

Very good app. Good visuals, informative, and easy to use. A functional app that gets the job done. Update 3/24/16: remains a string app. Very useful, fairly intuitive to use. Great visually; did become much clearer as to what is iPhone viewable versus not. This is a very useful app that compliments the DIRECTV brand. Update 3/27/16: app is broken. Needs a fix since the Guide does not come up properly or at all. Currently unusable. 4/20/16 Update: fix needed. When attempting to record a show on a specifically chosen channel like Channel 5 an alternate channel(s),398,appears and if not noticed your show will be recorded on the alternate channel. Very frustrating. UPDATE 4/24/16: Problem still exists. Also, an alternate channel could be one that you do not subscribe to like MLB. So if youre wanting to record a local baseball team on one of your subscribed to Regional Network channel your recording will be attempted on the MLB channel instead-which leaves you with a blank recording since youre not subscribed to MLB. FIX THIS APP PROBLEM NOW! 5/11/16: your update of today has NOT FIXED the problem stated above. 6/27/17: same issue continues PLUS NOW the Guide has no day/time to find and choose a show to watch or record.

Guide resets every use!

If you program using the guide it reverts back to the current day and time! How can I program days in advance if the guide keeps going back to the current date and time ! FIX IT !!!!!

Doesnt connect. Doesnt let you record or watch on demand. Aweful app and even worse dvr system.

Doesnt work

Tells me to update in store, when u click on the update button u get an open button which takes you back where u were and just continues to take you in circle...not real Happy with Direct TV and will leave when my contract is up...

Error not authorized

Ive tried for over 30 min to sign in but every time I get an error saying not authorized... even tried resetting my password and still same... waste of time w this app

The app needs to add chromecast.

For a user who pays a pretty good amount of money per month for both AT&T and DIRECTV residential, I should be able to chromecast stuff to a tv like in the cheaper DIRECTV Now plans.

Step it up a notch

I have no problems in general. I just would like this app to be able to multitask. Thats all. Small window pane when pushing home button would be nice. Nevertheless, background refresh and continue to play audio would be nice too.

Annoying

They need to fix this app! They only play like 5 minutes of a show and 20 of stupid commercials! Same commercials over and over! So annoying.

Terrible

I switched from Dish and completely regret it. My family hates it too. The app is awful. Shuts down for no reason. Constant errors. The Dish app is much more user friendly. Plus my family hates the fact you cant access Netflix through Directv box like you could via Hopper. Cant wait for my 2 years to be up.

Useless

The streaming is always "currently unavailable." And it seems like anytime my app updates it logs me out and erases everything I have saved from my DVR. I expected better.

Decent

Would get 5 stars if it had more control over DVR. Wish I could see shows that are scheduled in the future and set series record to only record first run.
