I switched to Xfinity because of this apps failings

COMMENTS :: Why does this app constantly refresh? Why does it need my location? Why does it take so long for it to initialize? Everything about ATT is inferior. Because of my constant frustration with this app, the limited offerings by DirecTV, the *AWFUL* genie remote, lousy Philippines-based customer service, and the unavailability of promotional packages such as complimentary HBO, I TERMINATED MY CONTRACT AND SIGNED UP WITH COMCAST. NOW, I get HBO and SHOWTIME FOR FREE, 350+ channels, broadband at 500 MBPS (ATTs faux FiOS only offered 30 MBPS in my area - Comcast offers 1 Gig), and ***very*** generous customer service. I hope NBC UNIVERSAL/COMCAST acquires ATT in the near future!
