If your goal with the recent update was to make your app unusable, congrats, you succeeded. Way to go.
Only works like 20% of the time. For the cost of the subscription you would think they would devote more resources to this app as its one of the major advertisements put out by direct tv/ATT
The app takes forever to load and never really works the way it should
I have tried for years to stream the content of my DVR to another device. I started with the original Genie, which was a complete failure and consumed hours of time with tech support trying unsuccessfully to get it to work. Now the DirecTV app promises the same remote access to my DVR, except it only works 5 percent of the time. If I am able to get my DVR playlist to populate AND if I am able to start streaming, the streaming content will usually freeze after a few minutes and will not restart. Its unbelievable that ATT puts this app in the market without thoroughly testing it. Every time thy upgrade it I cross my fingers that it will finally work, but the disappointment continues.
The update broke it
The app is good but every week its updated, I have to login and wait for 15 minutes to update if I have good signal Please too many update
Every time I download recorded shows to my mobile device and the app updates it erases my downloads. Really disappointed because I was planning on catching up on an entire series over the next few weeks while away from home. Now not gonna happen. :(
Video freezes and dont stay in sync. App very slow!
App works great when you have fast internet speeds if not forget it you get about 5 mins of a show and the video locks up but audio continues and never catches back up
For starters how about adding better control for the dvr feature when watching a recorded show, provide a numerical counter so we know how far weve gone when using the slide, and secondly slowing it down so you dont skip 20 mins when you only want to skip 3-5 ? Next work on the crashing !!! This app is horrible when it come to crashing ! Lastly figure out how to cash more video so that when I hit the 30sec button it doesnt take 18 secs to skip 30. Fix that and then this app would be really good and very useful !!
Absolutely useless! It wont let me login and it wont allow me to change password. It wont let me watch certain shows when I can get in the app. It is useless and worthless!! I cannot believe it is worse than Dish App!! But it is!!!
It would seem the update of the last 24 hours has rendered this app useless. Upon signin, the app stops at the "DIRECTV" splash screen/logo and never proceeds to do anything useful.

The worst app ever created
The latest is "cannot parse" but this app has been plagued with issues since I installed. Ive attempted to watch shows on my iPad, iPhone 6, and iPhone 7. It has taken more time to get the episode to run than the episodes are long. Woefully terrible app for something that is attached to a major platform like AT&T. I hope the networks like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc take note because by association they are being downgraded. Seriously get it together people. Your supposed to be a world class organization.
Awesome but we should be able to access everything thing that is on tv to your phone we are still limited mobile wise
Compared to the other apps giving me the flexibility to watch tv away from home is premium.
I havent had the sign-in or recording issues that have plagued others. It seems to work as it should. 3 stars though, because of extreme demand on battery life. Ive encountered few apps that drain it faster than this one. As a result, I dont use it very much
The app hasnt worked for me in quite a while. The App Support link takes me to a 404 page on ATTs site.
