The latest update for the guide shows you the channel numbers, but not what is on. So you have to tap on each channel, see what is on, then go back to view another channel. Very bad UI and UX.

This dumb app is sooooo frustrating! It crashes all the time, looses your place in the show your watching. Forces you to watch commercials. It just crashed while I was working out, and Im trying to figure out where I was in a show and its making me wade through 2 minutes of commercials only to find Im on the wrong episode (because sometimes it doesnt accurately keep track of what youve watched). So I switch episodes and NOW ITS MAKING ME WATCH 2 MORE MINUTES OF COMMERCIALS! Man I miss my Netflix app.
Some more work needs to be done on this program. Its extremely slow, freezes and displays error messages such as "streaming not available" although Id just been watching a show. Extremely frustrating!! You would think with AT&T and DirectTV as a union, the app would be top notch. Not the case!!
cannot fast forward through shows without the entire app freezing and crashing, the app is also incredibly slow.
The new update for Direct TV crashes. I love my Direct TV but I feel like cable tv is passing up Direct TV when it comes to speed
As per most of the recent reviews, I was having trouble getting the app to connect so I could watch live tv etc. I just tried logging in with my phone number (Im a Directv/ att wireless customer) and used my same password and it worked! Hope this helps some folks out there that had the same problem.
Ive been trying to get this app to work to catch up on my shows when Im not home... doesnt work at all I cant login!
How about you create an app that actually works instead of focusing on adding additional crappy features to an unusable horrific app.
This app is a piece of junk! Constantly freezes, audio is always out of sync, well when the audio actually works that is. I could go on. I used to have xfinity and their app worked great, maybe you guys could hire some of their people so junk might actually work!
Whats the point of having a TV guide on the app if it doesnt show you what programs are on? Its just the channel numbers. I could just randomly change channels and itd be the same thing. And trying to get an answer is the worst. Who wants to spend hours trying to even talk to someone?
Not worth it! Certain shows and sports that get televised on local network station. Not provided on the app
Quite inconvenient and does not work well.with each log in it asks you for your pin and password each time yet the iPhone can read fingerprints.sometimes you try to launch it and it hangs in initializing mode .Very frustrated with it. Patrick
Ugly, difficult to navigate, awkward to use. Also, if you try to record to DVR from the app, it will delete all of your DVR recordings and all of your series recording settings on the receiver at home. Save yourself the download – you can achieve the same experience by punching yourself in the balls repeatedly.

It would rate high if we could get to todo List. Ever system had it but ours I have had many first class systems. Considering the sophistication of DTV. this app is shocking. It is basically a can t do app. In reality it does so little besides look pretty. My previous Fios did tons more. Besides this app I remain impressed with DTV
Working well for me on iPhone 7+ and interacting with home service. Havent had any of the negative issues mentioned. Have At&T on iPhone and Verizon FIOS (now Frontier) internet (fast).
Very weak signal much weaker than Netflix.
Wish you could view bills and change programming from the app
