After latest update ...freezes after initializing. Pay too much for direct tv not to have an app thats decent.

Well, finally updated the app on my phone tonight, and now its not working at all. What the hell? How long before theyre going to fix it now? The app wasnt that great to begin with, but at least it worked. As much as I pay monthly I should have access to stream live tv on my devices if its part of the service.

Ever since the upgrade it claims its initializing but actually never fully opens. Then the website wont let you login anymore ... forces you to att support who are useless. Then try clicking on app support and low-and-behold.... page not found error. What am I paying for????

Cant get the latest update to run. It just goes to a Direct TV splash screen, and nothing else after that. I went tried the "App Support" link from the App Store, and it gives a "page not found" error. It is supposed to load a forums page. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling, but the same thing happens on the fresh install.

This app used to keep track where I left off of I pause it and resume watching now it doesnt so annoying. Other than that it works great.

ATT provides free data if you use this because they know its garbage. Most of the shows that I am interested in dont show up on the main screen, ever. Ive searched for several and despite AT&T saying that you can watch on all devices most are not available on the iPhone. And because AT&T internet is so slow at my house I cant connect to my receiver to record the shows either. New version? Nothing seems to have changed.

I watched one show and now I cant watch anymore

Its been giving me more problems in the last 30 days than it may be worth. I loved it cause I could take it to work and be caught up on daily goings on. Ive had direct TV since August 2016 and all the mobile app has done is continually get worse. I call customer support and they dont no whats going on either. Its very frustrating when you are on the phone for close to an hour and are no closer to trying to figure out why its not working then than you were when you started the conversion. What are you guys doing to the app???? Stop screwing with it it was working fine!

Finally all my TV in one spot on my phone!!! No more downloading multiple apps to watch the shows on my phone that I want to. Super easy to navigate and find exactly what you want!!

01Jul17 In the pass I have given a higher rating, but since I use the App to record (to other DVR) every day I have gotten more disillusioned. Mainly, after setting up a program to record if you plan on recording another program the Guide automatically jumps back to current time so you have to again set the time & date. This makes scanning the guide very difficult. And resetting the time and date every time, well its frustrating. I havent used other features as yet. 05Jul17 Signing in and out take a great deal of patience. Why? NortonOnline Identity Safe does not work either. Why? Identify Safe inputs the Email and Password, but the App ignores this and simply blank some out. Why? More then frustrating. Oh, and good luck finding how to sign out.

I like the ability to watch our favorite shows on the go and this app generally provides that as long as our DVR is networked. However, we occasionally lose contact with the DVR even though everything else that is networked remains connected. Other than this one issue, its a great app.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Very slow when you can stream from dvr. Faster and easier to just let it play through commercials than trying to skip ahead. Most of the time it wont even stream dvr shows, just give a network error. Horrible app.

Easy to use. Dont need a course to learn how to use it. Much much improved

Love the app, the only thing I have an issue is with the limited amount of channels available but other then that love the app!

When it works I love this app. But frequently the "Out of Home Access" doesnt work! It sees my receiver but wont access the DVR. So frustrating. If I am going to be away, I have to download shows at home to my IPad and then watch it. Wish I knew how to fix this.

I have been trying for 2 days to get my DIRECTV app to work and its doesnt ever load. It worked when it was first installed and is nothing I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing. This is garbage Ill stick to my Hulu and Netflix!

App performs fairly well but, Some apps such as NBC take for ever to load and leads to crash the finally. Badly needs to have a cast feature available on this app ideally for airplay as well as chrome cast. Blank screen and only audio play on airplay. Sad!!
