This app was great till the latest update. Please fix

U broke and forced us to have the latest equipment, time to give up on my cable

I am unable to do anything with the app. The screen just has the logo and nothing happens.

I absolutely love this application I can take my favorite TV shows on the go watch them when ever and where ever I please with no data charge rock on DirecTV and att. Love it!!!

Every time I want to record a show I have to hit record and dismiss the pop up ad three times before it works.

Its not very useful if I cannot watch shows while they are recording. Also, watching recorded shows is problematic more often than not. Also, please fix the fast forward function for all shows. Also, not all shows recorded can be viewed. Very frustrating!

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. After the last update only one local channel shows up (channel 5) and then it goes to 202. This is not the first time its done this. I dont know why its so hard for them to get this right. They offer features and then dont support them.

Update 3 years later and they still hate their users! They updated their iPhone app so that it now does nothing. No kidding, nothing! Enter the credentials, and I get the Directv logo, a hot phone with and no battery after 30 minutes. $130 a month for this? By the way, their downloaded content viewer is still terrible. Original This app is kind of an afterthought. Recording a show requires a lot of patience. Usually 2 or more tries of 5 minutes each. Trying to use the playlist "feature" is absolute torture. Playing a downloaded show will make you cry! They have removed the fast forward and reverse controls in favor of a linear scrubbing control that is unresponsive and disappears after 5 seconds. After 3 tries at scrubbing, the app freezes. What have we as DirecTVs customers done to make them hate us so much?

Cantt watch live TV, freezes every few minutes

Downloaded multiple times, even changed my log in and I keep getting a black screen with the directv logo. Waste of my time. I guess I can call and waste another hour for support.

I loved the app and its ease of use to be able to set up recordings at home while Im away. However, Im NOT A FAN of the fact that I was REQUIRED to agree to the new terms of use (which included releasing my information to third parties) in order to use the app. If I wanted unknown third parties to receive my info, Id go straight to them.

The app keeps shutting down. ?. I have synced it to my DIRECTV box at home and it says its not and wont load my playlist. This is a crappy app for a company that costs a fortune for service. Better step your game up or Dish is my future. You offer nothing special to me

First of all if you have to sign in to your provider then you should get the exact same channels your watching on your tv. & your not. The lower channels the app gets are only NBC, ABC, & FOX. But yet we watch 2,5,9,13,18,&20 & boomtown is not even on there & these are the basic channels. 7 channels your happ has taken away. & I bet people dont realize that. ???

Something broke recently. After signing in all I get is a nice black background and the DIRECTV logo. No guide, no programming, no nothing.

Love this app and its features so far.

Loved it for the first week of having DIRECTV however after an update it stays on the black screen that says DIRECTV after logging in. Just updated again and thought it would fix it but same thing is happening. Please fix this issue.

This app does not work. It doesnt even let me open the app because it wont load.
