The app failed to update and old shows long ago watched and deleted from my tv remained on the app despite all attempts to update.
Try to make it a bit simpler. Still have folks getting accustomed to newer technology in this ole world. Better stability would be a nice touch as well. Keep up the great work!

App wont let you stream local networks out of house anymore. If thats what you want to do then forget this app. Update: 5.30.17. Now the app works satisfactorily. Watching local channels isnt much of an issue any more. Thank goodness.
I hate hate this application. This is the most inconsistent app and always has an issue. I cant even begin to explain the issues because its always something different. It doesnt deserve any stars but In order to review I had to give something.
Worst interface ever. Nothing is simple. Often loses connection to receiver. Downloads are quirky, if it works at all. Cant delete downloads stored on device when traveling. Interface on iPhone is different from iPad (how dumb is that?) If I wasnt married to Att wireless Id switch back to Dish Network immediately. Developers need to start over from scratch.
Cant believe we pay $100 a month to Directv. Hoping ATT will move from the 1990s to today. Terrible terrible terrible.
brand-new iPhone 7 Plus and the app crashes multiple times and will not allow you to watch certain channels constantly says cannot find DVR. I have called customer service and we have removed and reinstalled the app and still the issue persists this app is part of DirecTV service and should be much better than this. Horrible experience
No dvr functionality unless you are on the same wireless network as your receiver!
better than the app previously was, but i still cant get through a full episode of game of thrones without the episode freezing to the point where i have to exit the app in order for the show to play at all.... also the number of ads shown throughout on demand episodes of ghost adventures is RIDICULOUS. five minutes of content followed by two minutes of ads? get out!!!!!

And it shuts down at least twice during an hour long show. I dont know why i even bother trying to use it most times. I spend more time watching/listening to silence as the app gets stuck on the Mazda commercial EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Its impossible to watch an entire show without the app crashing multiple times while viewing! Its ridiculous. Never had this problem with Xfinitys app. It even crashes multiple times while only navigating menus. If youre going to use this app, prepare to keep opening the same channel over and over and over and over and over and over.....
Directv application works to about half its potential due to three major bugs. List of bugs and explanations: 1) Lag - When watching videos (live streaming mainly) the voice of the actors and the audio does not synchronize. It happens far too often; almost every time for me. I assure you that it is not my connectivity. I have done done multiple tests to assure it wasnt my connection causing this issue. 2) Exit Option - When selecting an on demand video or live stream video, I noticed that the "X" option to exit the video is not available on every video. Please allow the exit option to be applied for all videos, not just a few. My current way to exit out of a video is to completely exit out of the directv application; leaving the situation to be quite annoying. 3) Freezes - When watching either live stream or on demand shows/movies, the movie would freeze on a scene quite often. Although the video scene has frozen on screen, the audio is still playing. Again, this is not caused by my connectivity; I have done everything to assure it was not my connectivity. Please, review this issues and apply a hotfix for the issues. Thank you. Respectfully, Joe
Ive been a Directv customer for 20 years and find that they have been ahead of the curve in technology for years. The app works great and is very convenient! I please be it !
When I tell a show to record on my phone it never ever works
Need easier navigation for the less techie people
Only thing missing is a tv schedule
