DIRECTV App Reviews

It worked yesterday. I am using the correct credentials for logging in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Even powered off my phone.

App simply will not initiate when after I signed in.

I type in my username and password. Then hit the login button and nothing. Nothing but a black screen with the DIRECTV logo staring back at me. Nothing loads. App does not work. Please fix!!!

P.O.S. app wont even allow you to sign in. At least a rock can be used as a doorstop. This thing is good for nothing.

This app worked great until today. Uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times. Turned phone off and on 5 times to no avail. Whatever bug fix that occurred in June, it did not work!

Decent app, if you can successfully log in, initialize, etc.

If I could I would. Were new to DirectTV. Thought the app would be nice. Our Sling, Netflix, and Amazon tv are all more mobile than DirectTV. Sling and Netflix work on our iPhones and our Samsung tablets while we are out and about. Amazon tv works on the laptop just great. If we could get a decent internet connection at our house in the country wed never have gone back to a satellite provider. It took SEVEN people to make my account accessible to the app and then, then after all that work, it will only pull up a black screen when you select something from the site. Ill just stick to my Flixster and DisneyMovies when we dont have a hotspot or WiFi and call it good. This app isnt worth the trouble.

Loads black screen with DTV logo. Deleted and re download the app, rebooted my phone. Same results. This use to work before, now it does not.

I am overwhelmingly impressed by the dark blackness of DIRECTVs app. As if they conjured the event horizon itself, the apps main screen is devoid of all life, merely echoing reality with an omnipresent logo. ??boo!

Before the update this app was working just fine, now it doesnt get past the initial screen ! Can somebody please fix this being that the reason I switched to DTV is for this feature !!

We just switched to Directv and of course the app wont even log in! It is freezing after I put all the login information in and stops! Please fix this asap!!!

i was able to use this app a couple weeks ago but for whatever reason it wont log in at all now, just a black screen with the logo at the top

Dont know what happened to this app but now I just get a black screen with the directv logo. Ability to stream was one reason I switched to directv, this is unfortunate...

The previous version, I can watch my programs. But after the upgrade, nothing, no programs, absolutely nothing!

This version isnt working. After what appears to be a successful login, then DTV logo appears and just hangs there. Can proceed. Tried uninstall/reinstall. Tried logging out of account in settings.

The app was working great for about a year. Now it wont log me in. No error message or anything. I re-downloaded and reinstalled. Nope. Nothing. Get your stuff together AT&T. Embarrassing.

The Directv app and site does not do half of the things that are advertised. Deleting to make space on my phone because its simply useless.

The most frustrating app ever devised. Now, it wont even let me login.
