This is by far the worst app ever. I gave it one star because I couldnt give it a negative star rating. I have never, not once, in the years Ive had it been able to watch a show without something going wrong. It freezes, the audio doesnt match the video, and sometimes the audio doesnt work at all. Ive been a customer of DIRECTV for almost 20 years - this app is an embarrassment!

I love this app its very easy to use and always something to watch

Ive called and chatted and called and chatted. Waited a week on a return call or email. My phone will not connect to my DVR so I can watch my recorded shows on the go. Ive deleted and reinstalled the app. It. Will. Not. Work. And nobody seems to know how to help me. Ridiculous customer service as well as ridiculous app.

I use this app daily to watch tv and it used to work well. It had a few small issues but was reliably useable. The June 26 update broke this app completely. It now freezes, knocks me off, returns me to my home screen, and then wont let me reload the program instead providing an error that the program I was literally just watching is unavailable. They must fix this app.

I cant get past the Direct tv screen it wont even load. This app is a complete waste of space

App no longer works!?! It wont go past login. Its been awhile since this latest release with lots of poor reviews and frustrated PAYING customers!! Now Im thinking of looking into another service.

Awesome that you can set your DVR to record from anywhere but the app doesnt always even start up. Sometimes it just says "initializing..." forever. And cant seem to find a way to cancel a recording if I change my mind.

Please fix this app, it used to be great but I updated iOS to 10.3 and the app no longer works, just freezes and does nothing. PLEASE FIX!!!

I havent had any problems with this app. Its working great.

I think this works well I can control my tv with my phone also can watch anything live anywhere with wifi

Join Direct so at least we can get free data. the appl would be better it we can skip the commercials.

Im watching the Yankees on my TV(YESHD) but this channel wont come up on my iphone6s. Tried registering my cell but it wont take it. ?boooo

Cant stay logged in! If you have a decent password (not easily remembered or typed) you cant have this app stay logged in. It requires keychain which not everyone uses. Really?! Watching TV has to be so secure? So it needs security like this? Let it go Direct TV! Youre not that important.

Constantly locks up!! Dont directtv care at all about the customers? Just fix this unstable app!!!! The people responsible for the app must be too dumb to fix the problems!!!!! My daughter has Xfinity and she said its works great.

Awesome app

So far so good, havent had any issues with it. I would suggest making it more convenient. By that I mean: instead of having you connected to your devices and receivers, wouldnt just you account username and password suffice. Your account knows your package and what you have on your recorded list, make it smarter not harder

The inconsistency of the application makes me want to discontinue my service with Directv. Ever since playback of DVR content has been restricted from PCs or laptops, the ability to truly have "Directv anywhere" is a fallacious campaign. In my opinion, to have me playback content from my DVR on my small screen iPhone is not a benefit but cruel.
