I love DIRECTV, because it always has my favorite shows that I would usually watch at home not to mention it has all the movies that I keep downloaded so if someone deletes them I can get it back I love DIRECTV thank you for making this beautiful app.

Screen is blank with Directv Logo after sign in. Does nothing else.

I have downloaded and re installed this app like 6 times. It never opens after I log in. Wth? Am I doing something wrong or this a problems for anyone else????

Its nice to have the option to take Direct TV with me - wherever we go. The app is very easy to navigate.

Very convenient

This is app is frustrating to the say the least. First, the navigation needs work. Previously watched shows should be at the top instead of the middle. No one wants to continuously scroll to find what they were watching. Also, a series should be accessed through one show icon instead of having multiple episodes of the same show...consolidation. When I return to continue watching an episode, the show starts over from the beginning even though it says "resume". Which leads to my next complaint. The fast forward feature is disabled which means I have to rewatch what Ive already seen. There are far too many commercials. More than when watching live TV and they come on at the worst time like in the middle of a monologue. I suggest the DIRECTV app team address those issues and make it user friendly.

I will write a review and somehow it gets erased!!! The app stinks and keep getting worse!!! Constantly locks up and shuts down and when I call support no one can help or even knows anything! My daughter has xfinity and she said it works great!

I use the app as an extra remote when Im fighting over the remote with my husband. I also use the app to record shows I want to watch later. I havent tried using the app to watch shows when Im away though.

I wish it didnt cut out and do weird stuff but overall I like it.

I love using this app and changing the channel when my mom is watching something! This app is great for traveling long distances. I love controlling the tv with this. This app is amazing

The app works ok when youre at home, but frankly I dont need it to do that. Downloading content is painful, to put it mildly. It often fails inexplicably. Downloaded content has about a 50/50 shot of actually playing. Content will likely stop short of the end by 10-15 seconds, and you have to re-enter the episode to finish it. The experience is awful.

Great idea, but I know why ATT doesnt count streaming from the app against your data plan. Because it never works. I can usually stream some crap that aired 2 years ago, but every time I try to watch live TV, like the Kentucky Derby right now, I just get the loading screen. If it does start streaming, it will stop within minutes or even seconds. Very frustrating. Ill check back in a year or so, assuming I still have ATT and DIRECTV. Also, you cant cast the stream from the phone to a smart tv. I guess I understand why, but I would love this app IF it worked consistently for live tv and I could cast to a smart tv. Oh well.

This is hardly a good app. Ive had other providers, that provided much better app for viewing channels. Has no remote and has no local channels. Very disappointing.

I just got DIRECTV a month ago, 2 app updates and I still get a blank screen when I sign in. Dont bother... Update 5/6/17... still doesnt work !

Even when my phone is connected to the same wifi as the receiver it never works. I always get message that theres another device using the system. Even if I turn every other electronic device in my house I still get the message. Streaming only works correctly about half of the time.

But, it has a way to go. I cant get my local stations on my app. Also, only a few of my DVR recordings are available on the app. The programming is too notch and recording five things at a time is super convenient.

Worthless. Wont play, slow, unreliable, keeps showing ads, the SAME ads over and over, and in general just awful. Time to dump Directv once and for all and cut the cord.
