We switched from U-verse and everything works much better on DIRECTV. I had an issue where the app wouldnt work. Turns out I needed to register at DIRECTV.com even though we already had an acct with AT&T. Try that if youre having the same problem.

Dont even bother trying to resume watching anything, either watch it all the way through from the beginning or be prepared to search for place you left off every single time you exit the app. Thats not the only problem. The information about the shows and movies is also terrible, search features terrible seriously would not keep this app on my phone if I didnt use DIRECTV for my television provider.

There were a few log in issues in the beginning, but have since been sorted. Am loving watching live TV and no data charges as Im also an AT&T customer. Highly recommend both services and the app!

With football season upon me again I needed to make a change in my current plan to add NFL Network HD. I called customer service and in less than 15mins I had my plan upgraded and got a promotional 6 months deal on my current premium channels.

The app says that it replaced Genie Go with all the features. I try streaming from my DVR as the app says you can when out of home. I call technical support and they say no it doesnt you have to download the show you taped. I go to the web site and it shows live streaming. It doesnt work so I call again and I am told the web site is wrong. Cant wait to get rid of DIRECTV. Worthless

I mean I cant even login even though Im using the correct user and password, so this is off to a good start

I have a Love/Like but not a hate relationship with this app. Sometimes Im able to connect and watch programs. Other times Im not able to connect and watch certain programs due to my receiver not being connected to the internet or, in a sense, someone else is viewing this channel when no one else is viewing the channel. Shows such as C-span and the NFL network are notoriously difficult to connect to when away from the house.

App is constantly freezing and not functional. Does not save my progress in a show, meaning if I exit the app I have to search for show again (it does not appear in my "recents") and then have to fast forward (after watching three advertisements) to return to my spot. Many times it will randomly tell me content is unavailable and I have to wait 10-15 minutes for it to inexplicably start working again. Several times the app wont open at all - an error box appears saying I have no internet connection. If app doesnt improve Im cancelling service because this is junk.

I love having the convenience of direct tv at my phone fingertips but have to say I hate when the movies dont download or parse. But I do love the variety of movies to choose from. Keeps me very entertained.

Im okay with ads... and Im okay with buffering, but when ads buffer - I suffer. Whats worse, the ads buffer and never come back to the movie Im watching. Very frustrating!

Cant watch every thing I subscribed for on app

Title says it all.

Been watching my DVR, live TV, and favorite HBO shows from my phone while traveling and its worked perfect!

I had issues with the app automatically logging me back in anytime I logged out of it. After a while with technical support, I finally figured out, on my own, that it may have to do with the "subscription" or "tv provider" setting in the Directv settings on my phone. I turned that off and now it prompts for a password again. It may not work for others having the same problem but it seems to have fixed my problem with it.

Everytime I select live tv, browse by channel, select whatever channel and select whatever programming, the app crashes ?
