DIRECTV App Reviews

This app used to work and now a few seconds after I start streaming it freezes. When it does work I dont have the same access as I do from my TV. On demand shows that I have on my watch list are unavailable on this app. I am hoping that Google fiber comes to my neighborhood soon. I will drop all things ATT/DIRECTV.

I love the app plz write a review it is the best its like a mini tv right in front you it is so cool you need to download it!

Dont bother to download because it will only work when youre at home... where you can watch TV... ready to be done with DIRECTV and their lies and BS of all the things they claim can be done but lets be honest they cant do 99% of what they advertise.

This App never gets any better I would also like to excess my account from here but you cant there hasnt been any change since I have had this app

This app is awesome from when you are away from home

Free access to your Direct TV programming has a known issue.... then fix it! This app has a buffering known issue that has been going on for at least 30 days. Direct TV will not make compensation because that claim it is a free service. Funny how Direct TV sells it to AT&T mobile customers as a benefit of the service. Hmm maybe they should talk to Dish Network for technical support. I never had this issue with The Dish Network app!

Started very buggy butt has gotten better with each release. Love it.

Its okay but really needs the fuller features of the Uverse iOS app - like the remote & the more developed channel guide. Also needs to show in the channel guide when a show/series is being recorded.

I love DIRECTV!! Always have, ease of use, number of channels, so many amazing options, simply the best in all those areas! My one and only complaint, which may end up being a deal-breaker is the fact DIRECTV no longer has the most popular local tv station in its line up. A lot of my favorite shows are on that channel, along with the best local news, local reports, etc. They got into some type of pissing contest with KTVA here in Alaska and are now refusing to air the channel. Its one channel, but its most of us up heres favorite. Otherwise, DIRECTV rocks! Just be aware, they can and will drop your local channels at their whim.

As long as I known, this app is not improving. The app always gets stuck or it has a still picture when the show keeps going on. I can only hear it or sometimes it will keep buffering. Even they send an update, that does help it either. It still closes when Im watching a program. Get it fixed!!!!!

Awesome app! Billed as advertised!!

Confirms record program, and the wont record. Hard to find/search for what you want. Very poorly made.

I see some have been having issues. I havent had any, and Im having a grand ole time!

Very intuitive app. Great response time and most importantly you can use it anywhere!

Love it, not sure why under one section it shows my receivers but under a different section it dont.

With the online guide no longer working I was forced to app that I stopped using because updates rendered it unusable. Unfortunately the guide in the app (3/9/17) is not locked down. It appears that it is sliding out in time as you are trying to look at it but in fact it is sliding the same information you are trying to look at across, sideways, slantways, and any other way expect to stay put. And when you do try to advance the time it is slow to update.
