Pretty worthless

So, if I want to watch DIRECTV on my iphone or iPad, I have to be on the same wifi network as my receiver. My tv is on my receiver, why am I going to watch it on my iPhone if Im at home. I only want to watch an event on my iPhone if Im not at home.
Oh, but I can use my $800+ device as a remote. So much value. If youre too lazy to reach between your couch cushions to find your remote, which has every function at your fingertips, but prefer to use your phone or tablet as a remote, signing into your account, hopefully you dont need to update, waiting for your app to load, and change between multiple screens to get the functionality of your remote, go for it.
