Unreliable and is a complete failure after DVR upgrade.
After upgrading the DVR in my home from an HR44 to an HR54/700, the mobile app no longer functions. I cant watch any TV channel, cant record any shows and cant access the DVR recordings even on wifi. Apparently DIRECTV has some major failure if you upgrade you home equipment. 4 technicians later and the only thing they can come up with is to send a tech to my home to see the error in person!! Wow. I sent screenshots of all the app errors, but not good enough. What a waste. Wish we could get uverse here. We never had a problem with that mobile app.
